Austria's first festival for games in public spaces We turned Vienna into a playground for a weekend Initiated by the streetgame conspiracy, the Play:Vienna festival debuted in 2012, featuring 23 local and international artists, 20 games and about 800 players over the course of a weekend. If you missed it back then, this year's festival is your second chance to dive into the wonderful world of street gaming!

Remember when you played hide and seek as a kid? Fun, wasn't it? We want to bring back the fun to being in public spaces! Maybe as hide and seek across the whole city while running away from zombies and trying to find a treasure? Or something completely different.

We want to provide an environment for new types of public games, bringing people together by experiencing new and different kinds of interaction with their environment.
