Festival 2012 (Premiere)
The Play:Vienna festival 2012 was austria's first festival for games in public space. It took place at the Museumsquartier Wien and throughout the whole city on a weekend in September 2012.
Over the whole weekend we had 23 local and international artists and game designers running 20 games with over 800 players participating in them.
We want to provide an environment for new types of public games, bringing people from different backgrounds together through experiencing new and different kinds of interaction with their environment.
